What is an ad specification?

Ad specifications can be used to display guidelines or important information regarding your media information. Any information you don't want visible in your description for your products or media kit, you can easily put in as an ad specification!

This can range from examples such as publication dates, accepted file sizes, image quality, GDPR policies etc.

Creating an ad specification

To create an ad spec, click on ad specifications on the left side of your Ocast dashboard. To create a new ad spec, click on create ad specification in the top right corner.

A new page will open, where you can fill in necessary information about your ad spec.

  • Title

  • Description - here you can fill in the necessary information. It is also possible to insert links and create tables in your ad specs.

Connecting your ad specification

There are multiple ways to connect your ad specs and adjust their visibility throughout your profile, to:

  • Media kits

  • Product groups

There is also the possibility of connecting your ad specs to ad specification groups.

You can choose to only connect your ad specs to a media kit, only to relevant product groups - or both!
