What is an ad specification?

Ad specifications are guidelines or important information regarding the ad purchase for a specific product.

This can range from examples such as publication dates, accepted files sizes, image quality, submission deadlines etc.

Creating an ad-spec

To create an ad-spec click on ad specifications on the left menu of your Ocast dashboard.

You will then be forwarded to the ad spec dashboard.

To create a new ad spec click on create ad specification in the top right corner.

A new page will open where you can fill in necessary information about your ad spec.

  • Title (the title of your ad spec)

  • Description (outline the ad requirements or guidelines of your product)


If you want to ensure ad specification visibility on Ocast, make sure that:

  1. Your ad spec is set to public.

  2. Your ad spec is connected to a product group.

Note: you can connect the same ad spec to several product groups at once if you wish to.

To save your work click on create ad specification in the top right corner of the page.
